I’ve posted (and painted) about my love of Mexico before. This is a painting of where my love of my life and I spent our honeymoon – the Shangri-La Caribe Resort in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, in May, 2004. Just steps to the ocean, we spent plenty of time lounging in the hammock, enjoying the sea breeze while recovering from over a year of wedding planning.
