About Lit Up Lighthouse

Most of my paintings are inspired by places I’ve visited, things I’ve seen, or people I know. This one came straight from my imagination. I had such a grand old time painting the waves in La Coccinella, I decided I should paint even more of them… with a really funky lighthouse in front of a Gingerbread-ish cottage. And I love Cape roses and hydrangeas, so why not add those, too?

What makes this painting extra special is it was my late father’s favorite.
